• The clarity of the DT990s is superb. You hear all, if you want to or not
• The guitars and the cymbals way through the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Premium Headphones are just incredible
• Listening to music through these headphones made some songs sound completely different, quite surprising
• The strength construction coupled with excellent sound quality make it a good deal.

Disadvantages:

• These headphones need an amp. If you try to put off an MP3 player or sound card, you may be disappointed
• These headphones are on the expensive side but I think you'll see that it is money well spent
• Straight out of the box, I found the DT990 a bit woolly in the bass.
