can you help me with my PA-system?
The thing is: When i was 15 a bought some pa-equipment, basically just for hobby-use. What i have is: A Crown CE2000 amp, a Behringer Eurodesk SL2442-Pro mixer and two Peavey PV215 speakers. Right now i got all this in my room, and i know it’s pretty much overkill for a hobbyist. I figured i could use it, for example when i watch movies, but i think maybe i should get a subwoofer. So my question is:
Can i just by an unpowered subwoofer and connect it to the amp along with the speakers i already have? do i need an extra amp for the sub? I was looking at the Nady PSW15, and i think that should be enough for me, but i could use some advice.
haha, I know its overkill, but i played in a band when i bought it and i saved up money to buy it. But i want a subwoofer to use with it as well. Since i’m don’t have any gig-plans at the moment, it stays in my room and the subwoofer doesn’t have to be that overkill. I’m just looking for some advice..
Damn Kim honey you have more than some pros use at gigs. Who financed this rig and why would you need any more of a sub woofer for your room? Do you want to induce total hearing loss?
You should find some poor guitarist to hide under your bed and take advantage of your system to make music.
