How to detect a sound device installed on my Windows XP Professional notebook.i SP3.but my sound can not work?
I installed Windows XP Professional SP3 from the one with SP2 and there seems to be no sound on my driver notebook.the Toshiba seems to be already installed, because I was not asked for drivers when I installed the operating system.what could be trying to install problem.when drivers told me no audio device is detected.
You were not asked for drivers, because your computer does not recognize as an audio driver or it was ignored. Assuming you have your driver CD or on the Internet, simply install the sound card drivers. After installing the drivers, your computer should detect your sound card, and sound should work.
